Q. Once completion takes place, are we able to stay in the property until we have found new accommodation?
A. Yes, you can choose to stay in the property once you have received funds, as a short-term or long-term tenant. Find out more in our Sell and Rent Back section.
Q. If I stay on as a tenant how much rent will I have to pay?
A. As part of the offer we will discuss the rent figure with you, usually the equivalent to the market rent for a similar property. We can also arrange rent-free periods or a heavily discounted rent, but this will mean us offering you a lower price for your property.
Q. If I use the sell and rent scheme and decide to stay on as a tenant can I have the option to buy the property back?
A. Yes, you are entitled to buy the property back at any stage at a pre agreed discounted price. There are absolutely no hidden catches.
Q. How quickly can you complete?
A. That is entirely down to you, it can be 7 days or longer if required. There is no pressure to complete any quicker than you want to.
Q. I’m getting repossessed, can you help?
A. Yes, due to the speed in which we can purchase property we can fend off repossession in most cases. We can even speak to the courts and inform them of the pending purchase, giving you peace of mind.
Q. My property is un-mortgageable, can you still help?
A. Yes, we have funds available and are in a position to purchase any property in any condition.
Q. If I remain as a tenant will I receive a tenancy agreement?
A. Yes, we will ask for you to sign an official tenancy agreement prior to completion. This protects both parties and gives you full peace of mind.
Q. I understand that I require a Home Information Pack in order to sell my property?
A. The law states that you do require a H.I.P if you are ‘marketing’ your property for general sale. However as we are private cash buyers you will NOT require one if selling to us, potentially saving you hundreds of pounds and valuable time.
